## What Close does with AI Customer Care

Close is built around calling, and AI Customer Care slots straight into that rhythm. Conversations handled by your AI agents are logged as call activities on the matching lead, complete with direction, duration, outcome, and an AI-written note, and lead statuses advance based on what happened.

## How it works

Connect with a Close API key. AI Customer Care matches callers to leads by phone number, creates new leads for unknown numbers if you allow it, and writes the activity within seconds of hang-up. Status changes follow the outcome map you configure.

## Data residency for Oman
